Prawn Amatriciana


Shopping List


170g of Pancetta

250g Raw peeled and de-veined prawns

1 large white onion

 2 Garlic cloves

1 Fresh chilli

Tomato Puree

2 Cups of Tagliatelle Pasta (Fresh or dried)

Olive oil

Fresh basil

Spicy Prawn Amatriciana
STEP 1 - In a pan place 2 tablespoons of olive oil, chopped white onion, pancetta, 2 crushed garlic cloves and chopped fresh chilli

STEP 2 - Once the onions have softened add in your prawns and 4 tablespoons of tomato puree.

STEP 4 - Whilst your sauce is cooking, boil the pasta in a separate pan and drain off

the excess water, make sure to leave around 4-6 tablespoons of the boiled pasta water in the pan.

STEP 5 - Add the cooked pasta and extra water to your amatriciana sauce and stir through whilst keeping it on the heat for a further 2-4 minutes.
Serve with fresh grated parmesan, season with pepper and a small pinch of salt and drizzle with garlic olive oil.
